🍽️ Delicious Recipes Using Saraswathi Mill Roasted White Rice Flour

1️⃣ Traditional Sri Lankan String Hoppers (வறுத்த அரிசி இடியாப்பம்)

✔ 2 cups Saraswathi Mill Roasted White Rice Flour
✔ ½ tsp salt
✔ 1 ½ cups hot water

🔹 Instructions:

1️⃣ In a bowl, mix roasted white rice flour and salt.
2️⃣ Gradually add hot water and mix into a soft, smooth dough.
3️⃣ Fill an idiyappam press and press into a steamer tray lined with banana leaves.
4️⃣ Steam for 7-10 minutes until soft and fluffy.
5️⃣ Serve warm with coconut milk, sugar, or a spicy curry!

2️⃣ Sri Lankan Roasted Rice Puttu (வறுத்த அரிசி புட்டு)

✔ 2 cups Saraswathi Mill Roasted White Rice Flour
✔ ½ cup grated coconut
✔ ½ tsp salt
✔ ½ cup warm water

🔹 Instructions:

1️⃣ In a bowl, mix rice flour and salt.
2️⃣ Sprinkle warm water while mixing until the flour resembles wet sand.
3️⃣ Layer the flour and grated coconut inside a puttu maker.
4️⃣ Steam for 8-10 minutes until soft and fragrant.
5️⃣ Serve hot with banana, sugar, or spicy curry!

3️⃣ Crispy Rice Flour Murukku (முறுக்கு)

✔ 2 cups Saraswathi Mill Roasted White Rice Flour
✔ 1 tbsp butter or ghee
✔ 1 tsp cumin seeds
✔ 1 tsp sesame seeds
✔ ½ tsp salt
✔ ½ cup warm water
✔ Oil for frying

🔹 Instructions:

1️⃣ Mix rice flour, salt, cumin, sesame, and butter/ghee in a bowl.
2️⃣ Slowly add warm water and knead into a smooth dough.
3️⃣ Fill a murukku press and shape into spirals on a greased plate.
4️⃣ Deep-fry in hot oil until golden and crispy.
5️⃣ Drain and enjoy with tea or a spicy dip!
