🍽️ Delicious Recipes Using Saraswathi Mill Roasted Red Rice Flour
1️⃣ Traditional Red Rice String Hoppers (வறுத்த சிவப்பு அரிசி இடியாப்பம்)
✔ 2 cups Saraswathi Mill Roasted Red Rice Flour
✔ ½ tsp salt
✔ 1 ½ cups hot water
🔹 Instructions:
1️⃣ In a bowl, mix the flour and salt.
2️⃣ Gradually add hot water and mix into a soft dough.
3️⃣ Fill an idiyappam press and press onto a steamer tray lined with banana leaves.
4️⃣ Steam for 7-10 minutes until soft and fluffy.
5️⃣ Serve warm with coconut milk, sugar, or a spicy curry!
2️⃣ Nutritious Red Rice Puttu (வறுத்த சிவப்பு அரிசி புட்டு)
✔ 2 cups Saraswathi Mill Roasted Red Rice Flour
✔ ½ cup grated coconut
✔ ½ tsp salt
✔ ½ cup warm water
🔹 Instructions:
1️⃣ In a bowl, mix the flour and salt.
2️⃣ Sprinkle warm water while mixing until the flour resembles wet sand.
3️⃣ Layer the flour and grated coconut inside a puttu maker.
4️⃣ Steam for 8-10 minutes until soft and fragrant.
5️⃣ Serve hot with banana, sugar, or spicy curry!
3️⃣ Healthy Red Rice Pancakes (சிவப்பு அரிசி தோசை)
✔ 1 ½ cups Saraswathi Mill Roasted Red Rice Flour
✔ ½ cup urad dal flour
✔ 1 tbsp yogurt (optional, for fermentation)
✔ ½ tsp salt
✔ 1 ½ cups water
🔹 Instructions:
1️⃣ Mix all ingredients into a smooth batter and let it rest for 1-2 hours.
2️⃣ Heat a pan and lightly grease it with oil.
