🍽️ Delicious Recipes Using Saraswathi Mill Mung Dhal Flour
1️⃣ Sri Lankan Mung Dhal Porridge (பயிறு கஞ்சி)
✔ ½ cup Saraswathi Mill Mung Dhal Flour
✔ 2 cups coconut milk or water
✔ 1 tbsp jaggery or sugar (optional)
✔ ¼ tsp cardamom powder
✔ 1 pinch salt
🔹 Instructions:
1️⃣ Dry roast mung dhal flour in a pan for 2 minutes until aromatic.
2️⃣ Slowly add coconut milk/water while stirring to avoid lumps.
3️⃣ Simmer for 5-7 minutes until thick and creamy.
4️⃣ Add jaggery, salt, and cardamom. Serve warm with grated coconut!
2️⃣ Crispy Mung Dhal Dosa (பயிறு தோசை)
✔ 1 cup Saraswathi Mill Mung Dhal Flour
✔ ½ cup rice flour
✔ ½ tsp salt
✔ 1 ½ cups water
✔ 1 tbsp chopped coriander & curry leaves
✔ 1 green chilli (finely chopped)
🔹 Instructions:
1️⃣ Mix all ingredients to make a thin batter. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
2️⃣ Heat a pan and spread a thin layer of batter.
3️⃣ Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until crispy.
4️⃣ Serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar!
3️⃣ Mung Dhal Laddu (பயிறு லட்டு)
✔ 1 cup Saraswathi Mill Mung Dhal Flour
✔ ½ cup jaggery or sugar
✔ ¼ cup ghee
✔ ¼ tsp cardamom powder
✔ 1 tbsp chopped cashews & raisins
🔹 Instructions:
1️⃣ Dry roast mung dhal flour on low heat for 5 minutes until fragrant.
2️⃣ Add ghee, mix well, and remove from heat.
3️⃣ Stir in jaggery/sugar, cardamom, and nuts.
4️⃣ Shape into small laddus while warm. Let them cool and enjoy!
