🍽️ Delicious Recipes Using Saraswathi Mill Cumin Powder

1️⃣ Sri Lankan Cumin Rice (ஊத்துமா சாதம்)

✔ 2 cups basmati rice
✔ 1 tbsp Saraswathi Mill Cumin Powder
✔ 1 onion, sliced
✔ 1 cinnamon stick
✔ 2 cloves
✔ 1 sprig curry leaves
✔ 2 tbsp coconut oil
✔ Salt to taste

🔹 Instructions:

1️⃣ Heat coconut oil in a pan, add cinnamon stick, cloves, and curry leaves.
2️⃣ Sauté onions until golden brown.
3️⃣ Add cumin powder and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
4️⃣ Stir in the rice and sauté for another 2 minutes.
5️⃣ Add 4 cups of water and salt, bring to a boil, and then simmer for 15-20 minutes.
6️⃣ Serve hot with curry or grilled meats!

2️⃣ Cumin & Coconut Dhal (ஊத்துமா மற்றும் தேங்காய் பருப்பு)

✔ 1 cup yellow lentils (toor dal)
✔ 1 tbsp Saraswathi Mill Cumin Powder
✔ ½ cup grated coconut
✔ 1 onion, chopped
✔ 1 tomato, chopped
✔ 2 cloves garlic, minced
✔ 1-inch ginger, minced
✔ 1 sprig curry leaves
✔ 1 tsp mustard seeds
✔ 1 tsp turmeric powder
✔ Salt to taste

🔹 Instructions:

1️⃣ Wash and cook lentils in water until soft.
2️⃣ Heat coconut oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, and let them splutter.
3️⃣ Add onions, garlic, ginger, and curry leaves; sauté until fragrant.
4️⃣ Stir in cumin powder, turmeric, and tomatoes; cook until tomatoes soften.
5️⃣ Add cooked lentils, grated coconut, and salt; simmer for 5 minutes.|
6️⃣ Serve warm with rice, string hoppers, or roti!

3️⃣ Cumin-Flavoured Grilled Vegetables (ஊத்துமா காய்கறி)

✔ 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrot, zucchini, bell peppers, cauliflower)
✔ 1 tbsp Saraswathi Mill Cumin Powder
✔ 1 tbsp olive oil
✔ 1 tsp paprika
✔ Salt and pepper to taste

🔹 Instructions:

1️⃣ Preheat your grill or oven.
